Absentee Voting In Person

  • You can vote absentee in-person until November 2nd
  • At the registrar’s office, fill out an Absentee Application. You must show an acceptable form of photo ID. To view a complete list of acceptable IDs, please visit our Voting In-Person page.
  • After completing the application, you will be allowed to vote absentee in-person using a voting machine in the registrar’s office. Accessible equipment and/or curbside voting is available upon request.

In-Person Absentee Voting Locations and Schedule- Loudoun County

  • Loudoun County Office of Elections, 
  • 750 Miller Drive SE, Suite C, Leesburg, VA 20175 
    • Monday through Friday (September 20 through October 25, 2019) – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, October 26, 2019 – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Monday, October 28, 2019 through Friday, November 1, 2019 – 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, November 2, 2019 – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Voting on November 5th

Hours: Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019

Virginia law requires all voters to provide an acceptable form of photo identification (photo ID) at the polls. If you do not have one, please fill out a provisional ballot.

Acceptable forms of valid identification include:

  • Virginia driver’s license
  • Virginia DMV-issued photo ID
  • United States passport
  • Employer-issued photo ID
  • Student photo ID issued by a school, college, or university located in Virginia
  • Other U.S. or Virginia government-issued photo ID
  • Tribal enrollment or other tribal photo ID
  • Virginia Voter Photo ID card

Identification

If you don’t have an ID, simply go to your nearest voter registration office to get a free Voter Photo ID, even on Election Day! You will be required to complete an Virginia Voter Photo Identification Card Application (English | Español), have your photo taken and to sign a digital signature pad. The Virginia Voter Photo ID card is valid for voting purposes only.
